Inspiring Our Clients
Our showroom is unique. The 23,000 square feet was designed to inspire our clients. While we have thousands of products on the floor, these are meant to inspire our clients, and begin the conversation with our designers as they guide you through the design process and access the thousands of high end, contemporary furnishings, lighting and accessories at their disposal.
New Now Next
Our Sklar Team is dedicated to learning the new trends in all facets of interior design. By analyzing the design markets in Milan, Paris and North America we have a better understanding of the styles that are emerging. This allows us to provide our clients with a longer lasting design concept.
Learning new products and technologies, understanding the trends that are happening now and doing the analysis for what is next is certainly a trait that sets us apart. We are the New Now Next!
Art, Accessories & Decor
We are well known for our accessories because we search out unique and different vendors and artists to display in our showroom. We are proud to support local artists and to find new and upcoming artists. We know we’re part of a larger community and feel we have a responsibility to support talented and passionate people who are working hard to succeed.

Lighting can be a signature element and define an entire room. We carry an incredible selection of European and North American lighting that is as unique as our customers. From exclusive hand-made artisan glass to stunning minimalist contemporary pieces from the world’s top designers and brands.
Custom Furniture & Cabinetry
Sometimes there just isn’t an out of the box solution that will say what you want your room to say. That’s why we have an incredible team of subcontractors who are skilled in building unique and custom pieces. Our room planner and design center are great places to explore the potential of your space.

Sklar Furnishings offers a large collection of patio furniture, in a diverse range of stylish materials including outdoor upholstery, concrete, stainless steel, wood. With the advent of new materials, we bring the indoor look outside.

Enjoy the Process
We operate on a foundation of kindness and it filters into every aspect of running Sklar Furnishings. There is a positive energy in the store because of our team. Clients, vendors and representatives feel it and comment on it regularly. We enjoy a lot of laughter and camaraderie in the store and people feel comfortable spending time and working with us. Some of our staff members have been with us 10–12 and even 14 years – this is amazing since in 2002 we began serving Boca Raton with only 10 people! Today, we employ over 38 people.
Accountability
When a product is not delivered to specification, we take responsibility – we don’t wait to ask, we initiate the correction right away. We believe the customer always comes first. For us, repeatable excellence in the marketplace is key.
Designed to Inspire
When your walk through our door, you will be greeted and welcomed. You can work with one of our Designers who can tour the showroom with you and work through every aspect of your project. In step with our unique retail model, every piece of furniture on our showroom floor is there for inspiration, not there to sell. This changes the dynamic of the designer/client relationship and allows a dialogue and exchange of ideas to take place that’s not about furniture in the showroom, but instead about understanding your needs. Our Designers are responsible and accountable to you. It’s this sense of ownership that brings pride and high-level commitment from our Designers.

Sklar Furnishings takes pride in being good neighbors who positively impact the community we live and work in while being good stewards to our planet. Each day we work to find ways to give back to our community.
In 2017 for Sklar’s 15th anniversary, we celebrated by giving back to the community. We chose to support 15 charities for 15 months. We did this through donations, fundraising and boosting awareness of the charities. These organizations create opportunities, lend a hand to people in hardship and help make Boca Raton an even better place to live.
While we are grateful for our award-winning showroom and business success, we are most proud of the positive impact we have on the community we live and work in.
Locally Owned & Operated
Sklar Furnishings is privately owned and operated by local residents Rick and Pat Howard. They are very grateful to be an active part of this wonderful community and take pride in supporting the community from charitable work to being involved in the Chamber of Commerce, Habitat for Humanity and our local Rotary.
Giving Back
Giving back is a big part of Sklar’s core philosophy, and something we have been doing since we opened 18 years ago. We are dedicated to being an excellent corporate neighbor by supporting the community that has given us so much. Our mission statement reflects this “To be good neighbors and positively impact the community we live and work in while being good stewards to our planet”.
Sustainability
Sklar Furnishings is proud to serve our planet by initiating ethical, sustainable practices in our store and by carrying sustainable furniture and brands that benefit the local environment and the planet as a whole. As an ongoing project Sklar is proud to donate 1 tree for every piece of wood furniture we sell to one of the three National Forests in Florida. We have given over 5,000 trees since the inception of this program.
